This is a QST for all radio amateurs:

The Maui Amateur Radio Club meets Wednesday,  12 September 2018 at 7:00p

in the Maui County Civil Defense EOC      WEATHER PERMITTING.

Our main topics of discussion will be:

1) the upcoming Hawaii Grid Madness event

2) the recent Hawaii QSO Party

3) the recent special presentation by Oscar Resto  KP4RF

If the weather is foul and the EOC is activated by MEMA.    We will not meet in Wailuku nor risk travel in hazardous conditions.

We will meet on-the-air instead on one or more of the following simplex frequencies or linked repeaters as described here:

I’ll assume that we will try first to use the repeaters linked to the county building and 146.76MHz.

Alternative repeater is 146.94MHz and is heard by hams on Hawaii Island.

If repeaters are down or otherwise occupied OR not available …  then please try 146.52MHz  simplex.

Our meeting can move to 7.095MHz if needed or interested.

HF operators can check-in to these nets for updates from around the state.
